Linny:( I hated the cold calls from lists bought by HRC. The last ones we had were from the postcards mailed for a Va Event and no one was interested, didn't have money that Holiday was charging for rent, or hadn't seen the postcard, etc. Like you say a waste of money, not including all the ones mailed out that were returned because of bad addresses. I could almost go through the old 411.com before they revised it, and pull addresses just as easy if you ask me. Of course they revised the website and it doesn't list neighbors like it did, too bad.

Sooooo ok - can someone tell me why it seems that Floater jobs have dried up since Jan 1st??? They are still short a lot of managers and co-managers around the country. I am so tired of the micro managing from RD's and RCL's - YGL - is a joke - we call the same people over and over. Since corp controls all of our marketing funds (and wastes them)it is hard to host a nice event to gain new leads. Now we have been handed a list of cold calls - boy oh boy is that ever fun. NOT

Seems to me Bill meant that to be from Home Office down into the communities and out into the world to everyone we came into contact with...that definitely got lost when Fortress took over.

Big news out of Salem... Holiday is moving and NOT to Chicago, not to North Carolina but to Jack's home of Portalnd Oregon. Bomb dropped today and employees were given not advance warning. Jack want to only give a 30 day notice. Nice way to treat your office employees Jack! You think long-term employees were given a bail-out plan or any sort of 'Thank you'... Nope. Just 'Stay with us, things are great, we are growing'
